Virginia High School Basketball - Tabb fells Smithfield
January 8, 2025: Yorktown, VA 23693 The Tabb Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Smithfield Packers to 35 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to York for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Tabb will confront a Falcons team coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Bruton (Williamsburg, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Smithfield falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Packers travel to New Kent (New Kent, VA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 6-1. New Kent won 61-56 in their recent non-league game against Grafton (Yorktown, VA)
