Maryland High School Basketball - Blake can't hold off Springbrook
January 9, 2009: Silver Spring, MD 20905 The Springbrook Blue Devils basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Blake Bengals to 55 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD) in a Montgomery County 4A - East match, on Friday, January 23. Springbrook will attempt to move on its 11-0 season record.
With the defeat, Blake moves to 10-1 on the year. The Bengals host Magruder (Rockville, MD) to face the Colonels in a Montgomery County 4A - East match on Tuesday, January 13. The Colonels enter the match with a record of 2-8. Magruder lost 50-47 in their recent league match against Blair (Silver Spring, MD)
