Wisconsin High School Basketball - Birchwood tops Lake Holcombe
January 9, 2023: Birchwood, WI 54817 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Birchwood Bobcats (Birchwood, WI) and the visiting Lake Holcombe Chieftains (Holcombe, WI), saw Birchwood's basketball squad knock off Lake Holcombe by a tally of 76-66.
With the victory, Birchwood improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Bruce (Bruce, WI) to play the Red Raiders in a Lakeland - East challenge on Friday, January 13. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Bruce won 69-45 in their recent league challenge against Flambeau (Tony, WI)
Next up, the Chieftains play the Cornell Chiefs (Cornell, WI) in a Lakeland - East challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Lake Holcombe will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 77-48 league loss to Prairie Farm (Prairie Farm, WI).
