January 9, 2023: Stafford, VA 22554 The James Monroe Yellow Jackets basketball team (Fredericksburg, VA), was toppled 62-42 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Brooke Point Black Hawks (Stafford, VA)
The Black Hawks now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a Commonwealth battle on Tuesday, January 10. Brooke Point will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 59-55 league win over Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-6.
The Yellow Jackets (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Knights come into the Battlefield battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Spotsylvania was toppled by Eastern View (Culpeper, VA), 66-57, in a league battle.
