Ohio High School Basketball - Chardon overwhelms West Geauga
January 9, 2023: Chesterland, OH 44026 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) and the host West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH), saw Chardon's basketball squad wallop West Geauga by a tally of 66-27.
With the victory, Chardon improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Mayfield (Mayfield, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a Western Reserve challenge on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Mayfield lost 75-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Euclid (Euclid, OH)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. West Geauga will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 70-60 non-league loss to Perry (Perry, OH).
