The Liberty Minutemen basketball team (Bedford, VA), was overwhelmed 87-40 in Monday's league battle with the host Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA)

The Pioneers now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mecklenburg County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 11. Heritage will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 73-30 league loss to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Phoenix record now stands at 5-6.
