January 9, 2023: Spring Mills, PA 16875 The Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) basketball crushed the host Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), 54-29 in Monday's league test.
The Golden Tigers (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The Mountaineers go into the Mountain test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Philipsburg-Osceola was trounced by Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA), 58-49, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Mount Union for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Penns Valley Area will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 56-40 league win over Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-5.
