Connecticut High School Basketball - Notre Dame Catholic topples Immaculate
January 9, 2023: Fairfield, CT 06825 In Monday's league outing, the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) basketball squad beat the visiting Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT), by a count of 72-57.
The Lancers (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers go into the Southwest outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Pomperaug was topped by Bunnell (Stratford, CT), 58-53, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host New Fairfield for a Southwest outing on Thursday, January 12. Immaculate will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 49-32 league win over Weston (Weston, CT). The Rebels record now stands at 5-3.
