The Standley Lake Gators basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Kennedy Commanders to 47 in the Gators non-league triumph on Monday.

The Gators now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Mountain for a 5A/4A Jeffco contest on Friday, January 13. Standley Lake will battle a Rams team coming off a 78-41 league win over Conifer (Conifer, CO). The Rams record now stands at 7-5.

The Commanders (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hinkley (Aurora, CO). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Hinkley ran past Regis Groff (Denver, CO), 49-40, in a non-league contest.
