The Northfield Nighthawks basketball team scored 87 points and held the host Kennedy Commanders to 45 in the Nighthawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denver North for a 5A/4A Denver Prep contest on Saturday, February 11. Northfield will battle a Vikings team coming off a 57-46 league win over Lincoln (Denver, CO). The Vikings record now stands at 15-5.

The Commanders (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Berthoud (Berthoud, CO). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Berthoud was routed by University (Greeley, CO), 74-56, in a league contest.
