The Lancaster Red Devils basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the host Mathews Blue Devils to 36 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Monday.

The Red Devils now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westmoreland for a Northern Neck contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lancaster will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-49 non-league win over Sussex Central (Sussex, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.

The Blue Devils (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Royal Tigers come into the Tidewater contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, King & Queen Central was routed by Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA), 89-46, in a league contest.
