The Wright Red Devils basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting L'Anse Purple Hornets to 51 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Monday.

The Red Devils now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jeffers for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Wright will battle a Jets team coming off a 83-43 non-league win over Ontonagon (Ontonagon, MI). The Jets record now stands at 6-0.

The Purple Hornets (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock (Hancock, MI). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record.
