The Palisades Pirates basketball team (Kintnersville, PA), was overwhelmed 58-23 in Monday's league battle with the host Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA)

The Blue Bombers now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moravian Academy for a Colonial - East battle on Thursday, January 12. Palmerton will confront a Lions team coming off a 68-54 non-league win over Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Lions record now stands at 4-5.

The Pirates (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, Northern Lehigh was overwhelmed by Wilson Area (Easton, PA), 73-40, in a non-league battle.
