Massachusetts High School Basketball - Smith Vo-Tech nips Pathfinder RVT
January 9, 2023: Northampton, MA 01060 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Smith Vo-Tech Vikings (Northampton, MA) and the visiting Pathfinder RVT Pioneers (Palmer, MA), saw Smith Vo-Tech's basketball squad hold off Pathfinder RVT by a tally of 63-57.
With the victory, Smith Vo-Tech improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Gateway Regional (Huntington, MA) to play the Gators in a Tri-County - South challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Gateway Regional won 32-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion (Hadley, MA)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion (Hadley, MA) in a Freelance challenge, on Friday, January 20. Pathfinder RVT will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
