January 9, 2023: Pleasant Valley, IA 52767 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) and the visiting Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA), saw Pleasant Valley's basketball squad wallop Davenport West by a tally of 88-10.
With the victory, Pleasant Valley improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Clinton (Clinton, IA) to confront the River Kings in a Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The River Kings come into the challenge with a record of 1-7.
Next up, the Falcons confront the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) in a Mississippi challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Davenport West will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 45-43 non-league loss to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL).
