Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Harmony Area Owls (Westover, PA), 39-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Philipsburg-Osceola upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA) to clash with the Raiders in a Mountain bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Bellefonte lost 60-50 in their recent league bout against Clearfield (Clearfield, PA)

Next up, the Owls clash with the Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Harmony Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Golden Tide go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 75-12 league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA).
