The Rolling Meadows Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Vernon Hills Cougars to 47 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maine East for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 11. Rolling Meadows will battle a Blue Demons team coming off a 53-37 league loss to Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Blue Demons record now stands at 2-16.

The Cougars (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Grant Community prevailed over Lakes (Lake Villa, IL), 47-37, in a league contest.
