Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA), 33-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Mesa Verde upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Mavericks host Pioneer (Woodland, CA) to play the Patriots in a bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Pioneer lost 41-28 in their recent league bout against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA)
