January 9, 2023: Miami, FL 33136 Dr. Krop Lightning (Miami, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Booker T. Washington Tornadoes (Miami, FL), 50-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dr. Krop upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Lightning travel to Miami Beach (Miami Beach, FL) to play the Hi-Tides in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Hi-Tides go into the bout with a record of 0-4.
Next up, the Tornadoes play the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans (Hialeah, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Booker T. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Mourning (North Miami, FL).
