Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Caddo Hills Indians (Norman, AR), 62-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Acorn upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Tigers travel to Horatio (Horatio, AR) to play the Lions in a 2A Region 7 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-11.

Next up, the Indians play the Dierks Outlaws (Dierks, AR) in a 2A Region 7 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Caddo Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Outlaws go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 71-65 league loss to Spring Hill (Hope, AR).
