Illinois High School Basketball - Blue Island Eisenhower nudges Thornton Fractional North
January 9, 2024: Blue Island, IL 60406 Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL), 71-64 in a league bout.
With the win, Blue Island Eisenhower upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Cardinals host Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a South Suburban bout on Friday, January 12. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Oak Lawn won 49-43 in their recent league bout against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL)
Next up, the Meteors clash with the Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL) in a South Suburban bout, on Thursday, January 11. Thornton Fractional North will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 41-39 league loss to Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL).
