January 26, 2024: Evergreen Park, IL 60805 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL) and the host Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL), saw Blue Island Eisenhower's basketball squad knock off Evergreen Park by a tally of 78-69.
With the victory, Blue Island Eisenhower improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Shepard (Palos Heights, IL) to play the Astros in a South Suburban challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Astros come into the challenge with a record of 4-17. Shepard lost 70-47 in their recent league challenge against Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Evergreen Park will attempt to improve on its 16-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 69-46 league loss to Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL).
