Texas High School Basketball - Callisburg knocked off by Pilot Point
January 9, 2024: Pilot Point, TX 76258 The Pilot Point Bearcats basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Callisburg Wildcats to 33 in the Bearcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyd for a 3A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, January 12. Pilot Point will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 57-41 league loss to Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-14.
The Wildcats (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX). The Bearcats enter the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Whitesboro ran past Valley View (Valley View, TX), 56-26, in a league contest.
