Arkansas High School Basketball - Catholic holds off Sylvan Hills
January 9, 2024: Sherwood, AR 72120 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Catholic Rockets (Little Rock, AR) and the host Sylvan Hills Bears (Sherwood, AR), saw Catholic's basketball squad hold off Sylvan Hills by a tally of 41-39.
With the victory, Catholic improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AR) to confront the Titans in a 5A Central challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 11-8.
Next up, the Bears confront the Beebe Badgers (Beebe, AR) in a 5A Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Sylvan Hills will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record.
