January 9, 2024: Grand Cane, LA 71032 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Claiborne Academy Rebels (Haynesville, LA) and the host Central School Pioneers (Grand Cane, LA), saw Claiborne Academy's basketball squad wallop Central School by a count of 80-26.
With the victory, Claiborne Academy upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Rebels host Riverdale Academy (Coushatta, LA) to play the Rebels in a MAIS 2A District 4 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Riverdale Academy won 49-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Louisiana Math Science & Arts (Natchitoches, LA)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Mount Olive Christian (Athens, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Central School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
