Texas High School Basketball - Devine topped by Pearsall
January 9, 2024: Pearsall, TX 78061 The Pearsall Mavericks basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Devine Warhorses to 53 in the Mavericks league victory on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Somerset for a 4A Region IV District 29 contest on Friday, January 12. Pearsall will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 68-53 league win over Devine (Devine, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-11.
The Warhorses (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers come into the 4A Region IV District 29 contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Floresville prevailed over Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX), 53-26, in a league contest.
