January 9, 2024: Sandstone, MN 55072 The East Central Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies to 33 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine City for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. East Central will meet a Dragons team coming off a 84-81 league loss to Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Dragons record now stands at 1-11.
The Huskies (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Rush City triumphed over Pine City (Pine City, MN), 84-81, in a league contest.
