January 9, 2024: Tahlequah, OK 74464 The Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) basketball felled the visiting East Central Cardinals (Tulsa, OK), 61-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK). The Comets go into the 5A District 3 test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Bishop Kelley thwarted Claremore (Claremore, OK), 46-39, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Collinsville for a 5A District 3 test on Friday, January 12. East Central will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 78-49 league loss to Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-2.
