Connecticut High School Basketball - Ellington crushes Sports & Medical Sciences Academy
January 9, 2024: Ellington, CT 06029 Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT), 69-41 in a league bout.
With the victory, Ellington upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT) to play the Bulldogs in a North Central Connecticut bout on Friday, January 12. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Stafford lost 50-45 in their recent league bout against East Granby (East Granby, CT)
Next up, the Tigers play the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Ravens come into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 67-60 league win over Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT).
