Illinois High School Basketball - Prospect tops Fremd
January 9, 2024: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) and the visiting Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL), saw Prospect's basketball squad knock off Fremd by a tally of 54-40.
With the victory, Prospect improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 15. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Naperville North lost 40-39 in their recent league challenge against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL)
Next up, the Vikings play the Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Fremd will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 70-68 league loss to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL).
