Maine High School Basketball - Messalonskee nudges Lawrence
January 9, 2024: Fairfield, ME 04937 Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME), 59-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Messalonskee upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Nokomis (Newport, ME) to clash with the Warriors in a A North bout on Thursday, January 11. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Nokomis lost 61-42 in their recent league bout against Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) in a A North bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Lawrence will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 63-52 league win over Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME).
