The Quitman County Hornets basketball team (Georgetown, GA), was nudged 53-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA)

The Pirates now possess a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terrell County for a A D2 Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Miller County will confront a Greenwave team coming off a 68-64 league loss to Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA). The Greenwave record now stands at 6-9.
