January 9, 2024: Waldport, OR 97394 The Oakland Oakers (Oakland, OR) basketball crushed the host Waldport Irish (Waldport, OR), 64-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Oakers (13-0) will now prepare for their test against Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR). The Panthers go into the 2A Valley Coast test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Gold Beach walloped Bandon (Bandon, OR), 56-47, in a league test.
The Irish now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Illinois Valley for a 2A Valley Coast test on Thursday, January 11.
