Arkansas High School Basketball - Valley View tops Paragould
January 9, 2024: Paragould, AR 72450 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) and the host Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR), saw Valley View's basketball squad knock off Paragould by a count of 64-53.
With the victory, Valley View upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Blazers host Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR) to play the Golden Eagles in a 5A East challenge on Friday, January 12. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Greene County Tech won 57-35 in their recent league challenge against Batesville (Batesville, AR)
Next up, the Rams play the Batesville Pioneers (Batesville, AR) in a 5A East challenge, on Friday, January 12. Paragould will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 57-35 league loss to Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR).
