Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, OH), 50-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Piqua upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Indians travel to Xenia (Xenia, OH) to clash with the Buccaneers in a Miami Valley - Valley bout on Friday, January 12. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Xenia lost 66-65 in their recent league bout against Fairborn (Fairborn, OH)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Sidney Yellowjackets (Sidney, OH) in a Miami Valley - Valley bout, on Friday, January 12. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 56-41 league win over Greenville (Greenville, OH).
