The Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX) basketball knocked off the host Childress Bobcats (Childress, TX), 56-36 in Tuesday's league test.

The Antelopes (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region I District 2 test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Roosevelt went down by Idalou (Idalou, TX), 54-15, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 10-17 record. They play next when they travel to Shallowater for a 3A Region I District 2 test on Friday, January 12.
