The Boyd County Spartans basketball team (Spencer, NE), was overwhelmed 59-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Ainsworth Bulldogs (Ainsworth, NE)

The Bulldogs now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Neill for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 11. Ainsworth will confront a Eagles team coming off a 58-51 league win over Boone Central (Albion, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 4-7.
