Mississippi High School Basketball - Hatley overwhelms Water Valley
January 9, 2024: Amory, MS 38821 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) and the visiting Water Valley Blue Devils (Water Valley, MS), saw Hatley's basketball squad wallop Water Valley by a tally of 69-41.
With the victory, Hatley improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Amory (Amory, MS) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Amory lost 66-13 in their recent league challenge against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS)
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the West Tallahatchie Choctaws (Webb, MS) in a 1A Region 5 challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Water Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record.
