January 9, 2024: Portland, ME 04101 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kennebunk Rams (Kennebunk, ME) and the host Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), saw Kennebunk's basketball squad overcome Portland by a tally of 50-38.
With the victory, Kennebunk improves its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Rams host Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME) to confront the Raiders in a A South challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Fryeburg won 42-34 in their recent non-league test against Wells (Wells, ME)
The Bulldogs now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Oxford Hills for a AA North test on Friday, January 12. Portland will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 62-24 non-league win over Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 3-5.
