Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Victoria East Titans (Victoria, TX) and the visiting Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Victoria East's basketball squad wallop Miller by a count of 87-42.

With the victory, Victoria East upgrades its record to 19-9 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Ray (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Texans in a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Texans come into the challenge with a record of 0-15.
