Oklahoma High School Basketball - Spiro nips Panama
January 9, 2024: Panama, OK 74951 Spiro Bulldogs (Spiro, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Panama Razorbacks (Panama, OK), 57-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Spiro upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Heavener (Heavener, OK) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Heavener lost 38-37 in their recent league bout against Talihina (Talihina, OK)
Next up, the Razorbacks play the Buffalo Valley Buffaloes (Talihina, OK) in a Rock Island bout, on Thursday, January 11. Panama will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 49-39 non-league win over Moyers (Moyers, OK).
