In Tuesday's league outing, the Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV) basketball squad nipped the host Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV), by a margin of 51-50.

The Scorpions (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Bulldogs go into the 1A West outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Smith Valley got by Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV), 39-29, in a league outing.
