Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ford Panthers (Quinlan, TX) and the visiting Community Braves (Nevada, TX), saw Ford's basketball squad hold off Community by a count of 47-44.

With the victory, Ford upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Wills Point (Wills Point, TX) to play the Tigers in a challenge on Friday, January 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Wills Point won 34-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Community (Nevada, TX)

Next up, the Braves play the Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Community will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
