Massachusetts High School Basketball - Chelmsford can't get by Revere
January 9, 2025: North Chelmsford, MA 01863 Revere Patriots (Revere, MA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Chelmsford Lions (North Chelmsford, MA), 55-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Revere advances its record to 3-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to Somerville (Somerville, MA) to meet the Highlanders in a Greater Boston match on Friday, January 10. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 0-8. Somerville lost 57-43 in their recent non-league match against Boston Latin (Boston, MA)
The Lions now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawrence for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Chelmsford will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 68-56 league loss to Andover (Andover, MA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-7.
