The Lincoln Abes basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Chippewa Valley Big Reds to 60 in the Abes league triumph on Thursday.

The Abes now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northview for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Lincoln will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 93-69 non-league win over Wyoming (Wyoming, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Chippewa Valley falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Big reds travel to Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI) to confront the Blue Devils in a Macomb Area - Red game on Wednesday, January 15. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 6-5. Grosse Pointe South lost 59-45 in their recent non-league game against Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI)
