The Crescent Tigers (Iva, SC) basketball edged the visiting Walhalla Razorbacks (Walhalla, SC), 76-71 in Thursday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host West-Oak for a AAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Crescent will play a Warriors team coming off a 77-17 non-league loss to Daniel (Central, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Walhalla falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Razorbacks host Pendleton (Pendleton, SC) to play the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Pendleton won 70-52 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty (Liberty, SC)
