Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Dorchester Longhorns (Dorchester, NE), 62-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Sterling advances its record to 2-8 on the year. The Jets host Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE) to meet the Titans in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Titans enter the match with a record of 5-4. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer won 56-32 in their recent non-league match against Meridian (Daykin, NE)

The Longhorns now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Bluffs for a non-league match on Monday, January 13. Dorchester will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 63-32 non-league loss to Brownell Talbot (Omaha, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-10.
