January 9, 2025: Malad, ID 83252 In Thursday's non-league test, the Firth Cougars (Firth, ID) basketball squad got by the host Malad Dragons (Malad, ID), by a score of 60-54.
Next, the Cougars encounter the West Jefferson Panthers (Terreton, ID) in a 3A Nuclear test, on Tuesday, January 14. Firth will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 65-49 non-league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID).
The Dragons (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Declo (Declo, ID). The Hornets come into the 3A South East Idaho test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Declo held off North Fremont (Ashton, ID), 64-46, in a non-league test.
