January 9, 2025: Washington, DC 20020 Friendship Tech Prep Academy Titans (Washington, DC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Thurgood Marshall Academy Warriors (Washington, DC), 99-16 in a league match.
With the victory, Friendship Tech Prep Academy upgrades its record to 11-4 on the year. The Titans travel to Clinton Grace Christian (Clinton, MD) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 10-5.
The Warriors now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkside for a PCSAA AA match on Tuesday, January 14. Thurgood Marshall Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 82-50 league win over Paul Public Charter International (Washington, DC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
