January 9, 2025: Gray, ME 04039 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) and the host Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), observed Yarmouth's basketball team knock off Gray-New Gloucester by a score of 67-51.
The Clippers (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Panthers come into the B South challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Medomak Valley prevailed over Morse (Bath, ME), 83-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots encounter the Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME) in a A South challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Blue Blazes come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 60-48 league loss to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME).
